It all began with the joy we created in our own raised bed kitchen garden. At a time when food availability was uncertain, trips to the grocery store were infrequent and free time was abundant, we immersed our family in building a properous kitchen garden. The time together was invaluable, the time outdoors was refreshing, and the joy and pride of harvesting the fruits of our labor was just the boost we all needed.
Today, we find our yard and garden to be a place for connecting to nature, self reflection, gathering with loved ones and sneaking a fresh picked snack. We love growing our own food and watching our seedlings become strong fruitful plants. Nothing tastes better than "fresh from the vine" fruits, veggies and herbs; plus the feeling that comes from doing it on your own is bliss.
